From the position of more than 3 years of war and available documents, including Russian captured by Ukrainian soldiers, it can be assumed that the nonsubjective of the "special military operation" was not to occupy the full territory of Ukraine. The forces assigned by the Kremlin and the organisation of their logistical safety were insufficient for this task, even assuming that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would not be able to present long-term, organized resistance.
