Wojciech Czuchnowski reports harassment to police

Czuchnowski on 15 December published a text in "Gazeta Wyborcza", in which he revealed that Sławomir Cenckiewicz of the President's Chancellery missed the fact during verification in the Military Counterintelligence Service and withheld the usage of psychotropic drugs.

Czuchnowski: ‘Somebody uses a generator’

After publication, the writer is harassed by calls from abroad numbers, mostly at night. From evening Saturday to noon Sunday, he had over 200 calls and texts. The latter, too insults and names, besides contained camouflaged threats. 1 of them was published on platform X: “You may be careless at intersections. This is not good, due to the fact that it is then possible to harm the car carelessly.”

“Someone uses a number and text generator, but this is not a machine, due to the fact that if I reject incoming calls, these ones are intensified, and if I ignore them, the series is yet cut off,” says Czuchnowski “Presserwis”.

Czuchnowski reported harassment in the Police territory Command in Piaseczno. “When I received my evidence and evidence, there were more connections,” he reports. The case will be handled by the Central Bureau of Cybercrime.

Prepared and planned action

The spokesperson for the president of the Republic of Poland Rafał Leśkiewicz replied to “Presserwis” that according to him “the violation of all rules” was the publication of “sensitive” information concerning the head of the BBN, and the prosecutor's proceedings were to explain how they were transferred.

On the question of whether the President's Chancellery condemns this run of hatred and harassment of the journalist, he replied: "The attempts to bind the Chancellery of the president of Poland or members of the Management Board of the NRP with persistent connections made on the telephone number of ed. Wojciech Czuchnowski are a manifestation of utmost manipulation and specified wickedness".

On Monday, “Gazeta Wyborcza” issued a message on the run to harass her writer and his relatives. According to the editorial board, this is simply a well prepared and planned action, which takes place at the silent approval of Sławomir Cenckiewicz and the Presidential Palace. He calls on the services to act “standing” against those who endanger Czuchnowski and his family.
