Italy strengthens anti-aircraft defense

Under the agreement, Italy will receive the Skynex anti-aircraft kit (four fire units, command and control centre, X-TAR3D radar and additional sensors) for a full of €73 million. Rheinmetall Italia will be liable for production and delivery. Under the contract, it is possible to get another 3 Skynex systems for EUR 204 million. transportation of the first set for completion in the second 4th of 2026, while 3 supplementary schemes, as an option, may be contracted by the end of 2027. The contract generates training, logistics, service, spare parts and ammunition package.
