Vladimir Putin threw the thought of creating a temporary government in Ukraine to "run democratic elections"

The Kremlin wants to get free of Volodymyr Zelenski and make a temporary government in Ukraine under the auspices of the UN. Vladimir Putin - seemingly emboldened by the White House's favour - makes further demands. Kiev reads this unequivocally: Moscow does not want peace, wants to proceed the war.
