On 19 October, a gathering with a delegation from the Institute of Contemporary Politics in Astana (Institute of Contemporary Politics) and experts from the Center for Studies on Ukraine (CSU) and the staff of the east European University of Warsaw specialising in issues of Central Asia and Ukraine, including Dr. Shahla Kazimova and Dr. Louis Włodek, took place in the Old BUW.
The Kazakh delegation was chaired by the manager of the Institute Dr. Sergey Konovalov, erstwhile advisor to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ukraine and Poland. Mr Oleksandr Shevchenko, a political scientist, SEW employee, CSU secretary, attended the meeting. Students and media representatives were besides present.
During the gathering a presentation of the book was held The case of Ukraine and the destination of post-Soviet transitswhich contains the results of the investigation and analytical squad of the Institute. (photo DIP)
