From the archive:
After 2 years of efforts, Sister Felicianka in Warsaw opened a stationary hospice for terminally sick cancer patients on 1 December. They themselves and a group of 30 volunteers like to call them “the window to the world,” a place where, surrounded by caring professional care and love, the sick may, as it were, go through the window to the another world. There is besides a window beginning to the planet of another man, as Mr. Victoria, head of the hospice. This heartwarming care and large kindness emanate from all those who work here and service as a comprehensive help, whether it be sisters or laymen. And the joy of the fact that it was possible, that dreams came true, that good and good can be spread.

For many years, in this historical monastery at 10 A Nowowiejska Street (entry through the gate from Nowowiejska Street 10), the sisters operated a peculiar facility for chronically sick women. After many formalities, collecting the essential amount of money in churches, schools and from various companies, institutions, foundations and individual donors, and conducting a thorough adaptation of 2 floors, a place for 12 beds was created in the hospice.

Someone might ask – why so little? The needs are great! It's true, it's hard to believe that there were only 2 stationary oncological hospitals in the 2 million capital so far – Caritas close Krakowskie Przedmieście and St. Christopher in Ursynów, at Pileckiego Street. Both for... about 60 - 70 seats! And cancer spreads, besides as a consequence of the negligence of 2 years of the alleged pandemic, and possibly besides as side effects of adopted "vaccinations".

This is why the initiative of p. felicianek is so crucial and necessary, even if it offers only 12 beds. Everyone is very valuable. Staying in a hospice is free for patients and families. The cost of moving it is and will be considerable. It should be mentioned that the city did not come at all with the aid of this pioneering initiative.

In addition to administrative staff, there will be doctors, nurses, medical guardians, rehabilitator and scientist who will besides support families dying sick.

The agreement concluded with the NFZ guarantees to cover costs in 70 percent, the remainder of the sister must collect themselves. To this end, a fewer days ago, they organized in the yard, with the effective and eager cooperation of young volunteers, the Christmas Fair, from which all income was allocated to the hospice.

The rich, multi-colored and tasty offer was readily utilized by Warsaw, who, despite the snowfall and the cold gusts of wind, became crowded.

Below is simply a useful link where you can find concrete information on how to aid keep this new, much needed facility.
