Vilnius says “enough”. On June 6, another march of deviative environments will be held in the city, which, as in erstwhile years, will most likely gather thousands of participants from Lithuania and abroad. The event will meet with opposition from any Catholics and conservatives who will organize a protest and a rewarding prayer. The reasons for opposition to the march, plans of the organizers of the countermanifest and the ideological situation in Lithuania are discussed with Alexander Stralcou-Karwacki, manager of the Institute of Christian Culture.
Michael Murgrabia: Mr. Alexander, as manager of the Institute of Christian Culture, which operates in Lithuania, you are liable for preparing a countermanifest against the parade of perverts. Did another organizations besides declare their participation in the convention to be held soon, or June 6 (nearest Saturday)?
Alexander Stralcou-Karwacki: Unfortunately, it has not been possible to scope an agreement with another organisations that have besides planned protests for this day due to the differences between us. Our protest is clearly Catholic due to the fact that it will be connected with prayer. 1 of the entities is opposed to referring to the Catholic faith, and we are divided by disputes about more circumstantial issues, going beyond the event itself, although it is absolutely Catholic.
