

The Centre for Doctrines and Training of Armed Forces in Bydgoszcz conducted investigation on a group of Poles aged 18-25 (from 25 secondary schools and universities). The aim was to effort to diagnose what offer the military had to offer to young people to make military service attractive to them.
The survey asked the question, “What do you think is peculiarly discouraging young people from joining the army.” The most respondents, 29 percent, stated that "continuous availability". Further responses were "regular changes in the place of residence", "hierarchical structure of the army", "worldview motives", said 21, 14 and 12 percent of respondents respectively.
Simultaneously 48% of respondents said that “they would volunteer for the military to train and take active part in the armed conflict”. Another 26% would "leave the country", 19% would "share in a charity", and 5% of respondents would stay passive.
The reality of generation Z. “They will decide”
— The younger generation has been mapped, and in a fewer years it will find what the state will look like and the quality of the Armed Forces," said Dr. Karol Dymanowski, deputy chief of the General Staff of the Polish Academy of Sciences in a conversation with the journal. “The survey draws a image of a generation that mainly cares about the comfort of life,” he added.
The survey was conducted on a group of 1,200 advanced school students and students aged 18-25.
