A large shield in the south of Europe. Patriots and S-300 to lame – what in return?

Greece and Israel signed an agreement worth about EUR 3 billion (about PLN 13 billion) for the construction of a comprehensive multi-layered air defence strategy for the Greek armed forces. The program, known by the codename "Achilles' Tarch" (Achilles Shield), will be based in the vast majority on Israeli technologies. This is the largest export transaction in the past of bilateral defence relations between these countries.
