Britain will get more rocket artillery

So far, Britain has assumed to upgrade 44 M270B1 systems to version A2/B2, of which 26 were in active service and the remaining 18 were drawn from the hardware reserve. However, in the meantime, 3 plays were handed over to Ukraine, which were replaced by copies [gifted by Norway](https://defence24.pl/war-on-ukrainie-report-special-defence24/norwegian-vias-ukrainie-artylerie-racite-but-jaka).
It has now been announced that a full of 69 M270 units will be improved from their own resources, thereby reducing the equipment reserve from 50 to just a fewer pieces, although according to the British Secretary of State in the Ministry of Defence all 50 wagons in the reserve are to be upgraded. Thus, the UK would have not had 69 of its own resources, but 76 (although these surplus ones could be allocated to Ukraine in cooperation with Norway). To upgrade 69 M270 to a newer version, the British plan to spend £481 million. Another £168 million is planned to be utilized to get and upgrade 16 M270 copies from the surplus of another countries.
