A fresh article in The Wall Street diary entitled “The large Event Is Coming and the American Army Is Not Ready” (‘The large 1 Is Coming’ and the U.S. Military Isn’t Ready). This article is based on official Pentagon press release reports Admiral Charles Richard at the conference Naval Submarine League’s 2022 yearly Symposium & manufacture Update. It suggests that we return to the spirit of the 1950s and 1960s, erstwhile the military worked better and the American manufacture was able to make fresh things faster. He referred here to the built and introduced in evidence time maneuvering rocket AGM-28 Hound Dog (1960) or Apollo Program. The speech ended with the question of how to accomplish this ability (“What’s it going to take? Is it money? Is it people? Do you request authority?”).
Well, I rush to inform (my fewer readers, due to the fact that the admiral will most likely not read it) that the U.S. has virtually no chance of returning to the anticipation and spirit of the 1950s and 1960s, and this would require extremist healing of a profoundly degenerate American society.
The spirit of the 1950s and 1960s was as it was, due to the fact that American society was inactive mostly normal, healthy – and Christian. In the 1950s:
- Divorce was inactive rare (this article provides a good overview of the data on this subject),
- Most women have not worked professionally (another condition of data – it is worth noting that between 1950 and 1970 in the United States little than 1/3 – 30% – married women worked professionally, this percent slow increased as society degraded, now exceeding 60%) ,
- pornography was not widely and easy available,
- There were no drugs in schools. (short summary) – drugs were not a social problem at all – But there was a prayer in them (pray in public schools was banned after the U.S. ultimate Court decision on Engel v Vitale in 1962 – let us add that Mr Engel was a Jew, 1 of the founders of the fresh York branch of ACLU, an organization with large “deeds” in destroying American society),
- No 1 cared about their feelings. And with feelings, it was the hard results that mattered,
- There was no extended social (programmes ‘Fighting Poverty” and “Great society” introduced in 1964 for the first time launched large scale social in the US),
- Economic situation allowed a middle-income American to buy a house, a car and supply decent education to children,
- traditional work ethic – there was no easy money for doing activities that do not contribute anything (at the minute quite a few money is made by alleged content creators, who mostly do not contribute any crucial value).
What did this mean in practice?
That a man could focus on his work, and at the same time he was taught from a young age that he should not have anything from the world, that no 1 would give him anything, that no 1 at work cared what emotions he had for that mattered the result. On the another hand, he besides knew that he would receive a decent wage for his honest work. Decent, I mean, to support a family. The family, and so the home, which will be taken care of by the wife, who will not effort to compete with her husband, will not abandon the children to nurseries to make a career, etc. As a result, children besides grew in a unchangeable environment while learning that fathers were working outside the home and mothers at home.
Why do I put specified emphasis on men? due to the fact that the modern weapons you so need, Admiral Richard, are technology, technology. And the method was always built primarily by men, and the boys are the ones who get excited and get excited about different mechanisms, and they're the ones who stick to models, solders, or make software. Recovering that situation would require an absolute coup in American society. Honestly, I can't imagine what a coup like this would look like, due to the fact that I don't know how to turn off half a century of brainwashing on another generation. Even historical analogies – societies that achieved specified a level of degrengolades usually vanish from the scene of past anyway. Nevertheless, it seems to me that in order for specified a conservative turn on a massive scale to begin at all in the US, it would first should be visible and felt for everyone the bankruptcy of this strategy and the country. And for that – let's be honest – it's not going to happen. The strength of the U.S. and its economy will alternatively weaken gradually and slowly, slow enough, that before people start questioning the social strategy around them the next decades of marazuma and backwardness will pass.
