From the editorial board: Below is an article by Dmitri Popowa, who appeared in the paper “Moskowski Komsomolec” expressing discontent with the war in Ukraine and accusing Russian oligarchs of playing a mysterious game with the West and Kiev with the intention of getting free of Vladimir Putin at the right time. Here's the text:

Rather, they even focus on the national disaster due to the fact that only in this way will they be able to proceed to exploit Russia (or alternatively what will stay of it, but they don't care), turning it into a colony of the West and receiving their super-profits.
Even Putin's military operation did not deprive the ruling (although formally not ruling) and West-oriented class of the ability to receive super-profits without giving anything to the country in return. Our triumph for them is like death, and so opposition will only grow. The consequence of this opposition is measured by the lives of our people on the front. Thus, widespread discontent is inevitable.
This means that 2 things work on a national disaster: either a direct defeat on the front, or a state of confusion (in which an effort to establish a power comfortable for the West is inevitable).
