"The rocket attack on Suma is simply a bright and brutal reminder of why president Donald Trump's efforts to end this terrible war are taking place at a crucial moment," said National safety Council spokesperson Brian Hughes in a statement.
"The United States gives its most sincere condolences to the victims of today's horrifying Russian rocket attack on Suma," wrote earlier on Sunday the head of American diplomacy Marco Rubio on platform X. "It is simply a tragic reminder of why president Trump and his administration spend so much time and effort trying to end this war and accomplish lasting peace," he added.

The Russian rocket attack was condemned by American peculiar Envoy for Ukraine, retired General Keith Kellogg.
"The attack of Russian forces on Palm Sunday for civilian purposes in Sumach exceeds all limits of decency. There are dozens of civilians killed," Kellogg wrote on platform X.
The Sunday attack on Suma occurred 2 days after the gathering of American peculiar Envoy for the mediate East Steve Witkoff with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Petersburg. So far, the Trump administration hasn't released a message from this conversation.
