It was not a successful day for the talker of the Sejm, Simon Holownia. He expected that on 11 November, on independency Day, he would be an chance to unite and rise the gathering of Poles in the centre of Warsaw. But reality proved hard for him. Although Holownia noted negative cheers from respective participants, he stressed that among the gathered was a silent majority, who, in his opinion, wanted to celebrate this vacation without unnecessary hostility.
The Marshal of the Sejm appealed to the conversation with General Tomasz Dominikovsky, commander of the Garrison of Warsaw, who noted that despite repeated participation in specified celebrations, 1 cannot get utilized to the atmosphere of common antagonisms. The Holovnia expressed hope that the silent majority could in the future outweigh the aggressive minority, leading to a more Community rounding of that day.

In the following paragraphs of the entry, Hołownia admitted that controversial reactions to his presence in Piłsudski Square prompted him to reflect on deep divisions in Poland. He stressed that as a nation we must "pay the price" for today's social conflicts, which are born not only among citizens, but besides as a consequence of the actions of politicians. The Holovnia asked the question whether, in his opinion, those who fueled these divisions for their political benefit would be held accountable. At the same time, he hoped that there would be a time erstwhile society would together overcome the differences.
Poles are smarter than the politicians they choose – these are the words that Holownia has concluded its deliberations, pointing to the request for dialog and community.
The marshal pointed out that the solution could be to build relationships between people, which will aid overcome hard challenges and overcome social antagonisms.
