After PKW announced the results of the presidential election on 2 June, electoral protests could be submitted by 16 June. The authoritative results of the presidential election, in which Karol Nawrocki, supported by the Law and Justice, won, PKW announced on Monday 2 June. As of this date, voters have 14 days to protest to the ultimate Court against the President's election, which means that they can be submitted by June 16.

In accordance with the rules introduced in 2018, during the times of the Law and Justice, competent for the examination of electoral protests and the determination of the validity of elections, then the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs of the ultimate Court, whose position - citing the rulings of global tribunals - is challenged by the current government.
According to the constitution, the presidential word is 5 years. President-in-Office Andrzej Duda began his second word on 6 August 2020, meaning that he would service as president until 6 August 2025. According to the electoral code, the recently elected president takes an oath to the National Assembly - that is, the combined Chambers of the Sejm and the legislature - on the last day of office of the outgoing President, that is, on 6 August. Upon oath, the fresh president shall take office and the outgoing president shall end office.
The fresh president will be Karol Nawrocki, who won 50.89 percent of the vote in the second circular of the presidential election. Nawrocki is simply a historian, since 2021 the head of the Institute of National Memory, who graduated from the Institute of past of the University of Gdańsk, and in 2013 obtained a doctorate in humanities. In 2017, he became manager of the Museum of the Second planet War in Gdańsk and served as manager until 2021. Until now, he has held no political function. (PAP)
