Lak is considering leaving his place of residence, according to the latest IBRiS survey for Rzeczpospolita. However, the survey shows that the attitude of society has changed somewhat compared to erstwhile results.
Fewer people want to run, more stay passive
"This is simply a somewhat lower percent than in the fall of 2023 erstwhile we first asked. At that time, 37.4% of respondents thought about evacuation, including 11.9 percent assumed to go to another country, while the remaining change of place in Poland. Currently, 18.5 percent of respondents declare their escape abroad, and 14.1% of respondents would be sheltered in a safe place in the country," says the analysis.
Interestingly, the number of people willing to engage in humanitarian aid has besides fallen. "Every 4th individual (25%) indicates that he will become a volunteer in, for example, a infirmary or a relief organization. Here besides there is simply a slight decline – in 2023 29 percent of the questions were declared. Only 10.7 percent of adult Poles will enlist in the military, and 15.7% of respondents claimed this for comparison respective months ago. Nothing will do 25 percent (in 2023 22 percent). Only 6.7% of us don't know how to behave" - emphasised Rzeczpospolita.
Who are those who declare aid or escape?
The survey shows that volunteering is the most common declaration:
- voters of the ruling camp (32%), previously 38%),
- women (29%),
- people in their 50s (36 percent),

- ruling coalition voters (23%),
- women (28%),
- persons aged 40-49 (43%),

- parents of at least 2 children (45%).
"This is simply a declaration of middle-school people (28%) who present centre or left-wing political views," the diary points out.
With respect to volunteer military service, both government supporters and opposition advocates declare a akin level of commitment (13% each).
