US president Donald Trump announced in Abu Dhabi on Friday that he was ending his visit to the mediate East and was returning home. Although he had not previously ruled out participating in the peace talks between Ukraine and Russia in Turkey, he yet did not appear in Istanbul. Trump did announce that he planned to meet with Russian president Vladimir Putin "as shortly as we can arrange it."
