The Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 launched a long-lost revolt and unity of NATO states, and associates seeking to aid those fighting the invader. Assistance for Kiev came from virtually all corner of the civilized world, including from as distant places as Japan or Australia. The forms of aid were and are different: from helmets, rations or hygiene measures to the latest achievements of military technology. Much of the aid was made up of transports of individual tiny arms, thousands of them from many parts of the planet to Ukraine.
