Ukraine is heroically facing Putin, due to the fact that there are politicians - sometimes highly cynical and corrupt - he effectively placed in Majdan. And Majdan are people who worked everywhere, not just in the squares and streets. Majdan became a voice no politician could ignore. Majdan became the heart and conscience of Ukrainian society.

Poland differs from Ukraine. So our social movement would gotta look different in many ways. How? Experienced activists and street activists can answer this question. People who, for 8 years, have faced evil not only in the streets. I would be very grateful if the heroes and heroes of the Women's Strike, the Committee for the Defence of Democracy, the citizens of Poland and another well-deserved initiatives should speak.

This is not the time for despair. No time for grief. Time to go. Since democratic politicians cannot defend democracy, we must defend democracy.
