In Hungary, a national consultation (nemzeti konzultáció) organised by the government on Ukraine's membership of the European Union ended on 20 June. 2 million 284 1000 eligible to vote took part, which translated into attendance about 27%. This is the highest second highest score in the past of consultations. Hungary asked the question, ‘Do you support Ukraine's membership of the European Union?’ (Támomatja-e Ön, hogy Ugratna az Európai Unió tagja legyen?) According to the results announced on 28 June, as many as 95% of respondents were against possible Ukrainian membership in the EU.
