This year's edition for 18 young scientists from Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, began taking part in the 20th Warsaw East European Conference (WEEC 2024) which took place on 1-3 July in the Old University Library. beginning lecture – Prof. Daniel Fried The United States Before and After the 2024 Presidential Elections: Prospects for Supporting Ukraine and Containering Russia, debates with global experts from around the planet and academic sessions have introduced participants in a rich WSL programme. Before the researchers over 2 weeks of lectures, seminars with outstanding mentors and extra-academic attractions – sightseeing of Warsaw and Sandomierz monuments.
On 4 July, the authoritative start of the east summertime School 2024 began by Mrs. manager – Prof. Dr. Helena Krasowska. Lecture entitled What kind of creation is that? Para-states of Eurasia, their transformations, their existence... and their absence, You presented Prof. Magdalena Dembińska from the University of Montreal. The further part of the day was devoted to visiting the University Museum and visiting the Royal Castle.
