Yesterday an exhibition took place in the Silesian Library building, which emphasized the beauty and clarity of colour in art, showing its influence on our emotions.
Its authors were Ukrainian artists, both professionals and amateurs who are beneficiaries of the “ADRA” Foundation. The exhibition included works by both experienced creators and enthusiasts, including adults and children.
Each canvas, created by Ukrainian artists residing in Poland, was not only a work of art but besides an expression of the strength and perseverance of its creators, recalling the strength of art that gives hope, inspiration and support.
The beginning of the exhibition was supplemented by art workshops for children and adults, who enjoyed large success.
The exhibition was organized under the honorary patronage of the president of Katowice City and was not only an chance to admire art, but besides to participate actively in the creative process, which peculiarly enjoyed young visitors.
