Narrowhouse: The Sanctuary of Our woman of Kębel

Thousands of faithful from Lublin Archdiocese and the full region arrived on 5-6 September at the Shrine of Our woman of Kębel in Wąwolnica for yearly indulgences. Many pilgrims reached the sanctuary on foot, continuing the tradition of September pilgrimage to Our woman of Kębel.

Saturday was the first day of indulgences. Bishop Joseph Wróbel and Bishop Adam Bab celebrated the Holy Mass. In the evening, there was a gathering of the “Young Narrow”, this year under the slogan “Flow to the Deep”, and a Marian performance of the Choir and the Iubilaeum Orchestra. At 9 p.m., after the Jasna Góra Appeal, a conventional procession of light began from Wąwolnica to Kębła, where the Eucharist was presided over by Bishop Artur Miziński at 2 p.m. At midnight in the basilica, the Holy Mass was celebrated by the priests of the country, and then a vigil led by the communities and prayer groups was held throughout the night.

The main ceremonies were held on Sunday. At 9.00 a.m. a procession with graces celebrated for the figure of Our woman of Kębelska departed from the chapel at Rosary Square, where Bishop Mieczysław Cisło presided at 9.30 a.m. At noon, the pontifical sum, which, together with the main celebrity Bishop Czesław Kozon, was held by the Metropolitan of Lublin Archbishop Stanisław Budzik and bishops Artur Miziński, Adam Bab and Mieczysław Cisło.
