Pilotage this year
The training started present is the pilotage of the nationwide action, which is planned to launch in 2026. 1 of the 4 subject modules can presently be selected. On the “Safety” course, we will learn how to prepare ourselves and the home for emergency situations, respond to emergency signals and conduct evacuations. First-aid classes will bring together, among others, the basics of pre-medical rescue, methods of effective call for assistance and the operation of defibrillator. If, on the another hand, we are curious in preparing an evacuation backpack, planning hiding or elements of survival, we should be curious in endurance training. The last module – cybersecurity – is designed primarily for seniors and focuses on threats lurking at us on the Internet. In the class we will learn how to defend your data, usage social media and AI tools safely, and how to admit fake news and disinformation campaigns.
Each course lasts 8 hours and with tiny exceptions is carried out on weekends in selected units (four consecutive weekends until 13 December). We asked respective people why they responded to the Ministry of Defence's appeal and applied for training. “I want to know what I should know as a civilian to be safe and not panic,” says Zuzanna, who took classes in the 1st Armored Brigade in Happy. “The training offered so far was designed to encourage entry into the army, and I am curious in skills and cognition for civilians who want to be aware and prepared for crisis situations,” he adds.
“I was curious and eager to learn fresh skills, but besides to any degree civic duty,” says Marta. “We live in specified times that it is worth being prepared,” adds Krzysztof. “I would like as many skills as possible to be provided in applicable form.
