Probably by 8 p.m. today, the consequences of the theft of approx. 60 metres of the overhead contact line, which took place in the Pilgrimage area on the railway way between Nidzica and Kozlov, will be removed – said PKP PLK. Until the repair is completed, passengers shall usage replacement communications.
Tomasz Łotowski of the Polish Railways Railway Station press squad reported that about 60 m of the traction network was stolen. The morning Intercity train of Olsztyn-Kraków's relationship, which entered this place, damaged the pantograph and broke about 300 m of traction line.
For this reason, rail traffic is on this episode on Friday from morning, changes in train moving have been made.
– Intercity trains are guided by a circular way through Iława. There is besides a replacement communication on the Olsztyn – Dziadowo section and there are buses. However, behind the trains Polregio replacement communication is between Nidzica and Dziadow – he passed.
PKP PLK estimates that the work on repairing the traction network will last until 8:00 p.m. The train in which the pantograph was damaged was towed by the combustion locomotive to Olsztyn.
