In the last weekend of August, 2 crucial figures of Polish politics will search the attention of the same generation. Karol Nawrocki invited young people to his residence in Jurat on 29 and 30 August, almost at the same time as the Campus Poland of the Future of Rafał Trzaskowski is in Olsztyn. Commentators read the President's initiative as an effort to build their own platform of contact with the Gen Z generation.
Two meetings, 1 recipient
The calendar leaves no illusions about the convergence scale. Campus Poland Future, a cyclical festival organized by Rafał Trzaskowski, is planned in Olsztyn on 26–30 August. Nawrocki invited young people to Jurata on 29 and 30 August, so on the days overlapping on the end of the Olsztyn event. Both initiatives are addressed to the same group, i.e. people entering adulthood and looking for a place in public life. For Trzaskowski, this is the 4th edition of the festival, which its organizers call the largest socio-political event in this part of Europe. The overlap of deadlines makes any young people gotta choose between 2 places.
Presidential format for the opposition festival
Campus built over the years the brand of a large social-political festival and returns this year after the break of the erstwhile season. This year's edition takes place in the Olsztyn Kortów, where the festival has hosted before. The president proposes a different expression in character due to the fact that he invites you to a state residence alternatively than to an open university town. OKO.press portal described the Juratan gathering as an event that could become an alternate to Campus. The writer Kamila Baranowska at i.pl estimated that Nawrocki had created his own counterpart of this formula. Both grades come from commentators, not the president himself. Trzaskowski, president of Warsaw and Deputy Head of the Civic Platform, has been utilizing Campus for years to build backrooms among young activists. The full guest list has not yet been announced.

The differences can already be seen in the participation criteria. Jurata may be attended by persons aged 18 to 26, while Campus opens up to participants up to the age of 35. The presidential format emphasizes the direct conversation of the head of state with participants and links it with sports and concerts. The settlement will not bring 1 August weekend, but 1 that will prove to be more permanent in subsequent years. The last weekend of August will thus become a test of 2 different styles of speaking to the same generation.
