– On May 18, we recorded a very advanced election turnout, which was 67.31 percent, the highest in the past of the presidential election in the first round. The second is frequently higher. How many Poles can go to vote?
– In 2015 and 2020, attendance in the second circular was indeed higher than in the first round. It should be expected that the same will happen now, but I am not rather so sure. We do not know how many people in the first circular will consider that there is no longer a candidate, and how many who have not voted in the first circular will go to the polls in the second. Today, it seems that attendance will not exceed 70%.
– How many people who have not voted in the first circular will now give their vote?
– 5 years ago, that was 1.2 million. Now polarization in society is even greater, so it may seem that even more people will vote, but it must be remembered that the fatigue of the political class among Poles is besides greater than 5 years ago. However, I think that a group that has resigned from voting in the first circular and will vote in the second circular can be estimated at around 1 million people, but there may besides be fewer.
