He is very sad to hear about the death of Mark Pitula. He was 61.
Marek was president of the ellipse of Generations in Bytom, a regular guest of meetings of the Polish thought Clubs and a longtime reader of “Polish Thought”. He was at our last Katowice gathering with editor-in-chief John Engelgard. He enjoyed this year's Polish thought Clubs Convention. He loved Poland, Silesia and Bytom.
He was a prominent judoka, nine-time national championship medalist, as well as a valued trainer and arbitrator. He started at Start of Częstochowa, then was his beloved GKS Black Bytom. No 1 with that kind of commitment for hours could talk about their beloved sport. For many years he was manager at Bytom simple School No. 54 in Miechowice district.
Goodbye Marku !!! “Think Poland” remembers.
