They cry and pay in the United States. So much for a liter of ON and gas. Cheaper than in Poland!?

The average price of diesel in the United States reached a evidence level of $5.85 per gallon on Thursday – according to American Automobile Association (AA) data. Within a period diesel increased by 48 cents, and compared to last year the price increased by 2.14 dollars. A year ago, a gallon of diesel cost incomparably less, for an average of $3.71.

The gallon is about 3.8 liters, and the dollar presently costs about 3.71 PLN. By dividing the price by the capacity in litres and the price of gallons in golds we get about PLN 5.71 per litre of diesel. For comparison in Poland it is an average of PLN 7.58 per litre – according to autocenter.pl.

In America, gasoline is besides more expensive. Its average price was $4.15 per gallon (about PLN 4.05 per litre), by $1.13 more than a year earlier. However, it remains below the current evidence of $5.016 per gallon, established in June 2022. In Poland we pay PLN 6.86 per litre of basic Pb95 on average.

Price increases – not only in the United States, but worldwide – are linked to the war between the US and Israel and Iran, which began on 28 February and the ongoing blockade of the Ormuz Strait – a key road for oil and natural gas transport. The tight marketplace situation limits the availability of natural material and translates into fuel prices.

High diesel prices are peculiarly heavy affected by dense goods transport, agriculture and construction and, consequently, may increase the cost of operating the full economy. However, more costly petrol straight burdens households.

The rising fuel prices are besides becoming a political problem for the Donald Trump administration. little than 2 months before the elections to Congress, the alleged "half" in which 1/3 of the representatives and senators are elected, the price may influence support for Republicans.
