There are over 800 most dangerous criminal networks in the EU

A fresh Europol study published in early April entitled “Decoding the most dangerous criminal networks in the EU”** details the characteristics of criminal networks that represent the top threat in the European Union**. The paper focuses on criminal actors, as part of the first of its kind mapping of the most threatening criminal networks. It describes in item how the most dangerous groups are organised, how criminal activities engage and how and where they operate.
