The celebrations began at midday of local time with the Holy Mass for victims of genocide in Volyn. The remains of 55 people were found during works conducted from July 13 to August 7, 2026 in Ostrówków and Wola Ostrowiecka. IPN confirmed that there were 26 children among the victims. The squad besides secured DNA investigation material and over 300 individual items.
Memory of the Murdered
