Ukraine has been asking for further anti-aircraft defence systems for months, including Patriot batteries, which have shown fantastic effectiveness in fighting the Kremlin's air force. However, the West has not yet met Kiev's needs in this area and it seems that Ukraine's patience has exhausted. As president Zelenski announced, our neighbour will make his own equivalent of the Patriot system!
