This year's meetings were held under the motto: Polish-Ukrainian strategical partnership during the war and prospects for interstate dialogue". The three-day conference (21-23 September), attended by scientists, experts, local activists and diplomats, was an excellent chance to rise key issues of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation. Panel discussions included the following topics:
- European and Euroatlantic aspirations of Ukraine: disadvantages and advantages in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war,
- Military aid to Poland and the West for Ukraine: correct consequence to regional and global safety threats,
- The humanitarian dimension of the war in Ukraine: aid to refugees,
- Reconstruction of Ukraine: challenges, perspectives, directions,
- The future of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation.
Traditionally, the survey of east Europe, as co-organiser of the Conference, was represented by a large delegation: Jan Malicki, manager of the SEW, which together with the Rector of the University of Przykarpacki named after Vasil Stefanyk in Ivano Frankivsk prof. Igor Cependa, opened Meetings and participated in panel discussions. Colonel Tadeusz Krzęstek was besides among the experts. The conference was besides attended by a stand with the latest publications of the Study, prepared by Anna Tymiec and Hanna Kalinowska.
The co-organizers of the event are the Przykarpackie University of vasyl Stefanyk National University in Ivano-Frankivsk (d. Stanisławów), the survey of east Europe at the University of Warsaw, the Freedom and Democracy Foundation, the Institute of Political and Ethnonational investigation of Ivan Kurasa NAN of Ukraine, the Representation of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kiev, the Polish Institute in Kiev and the Association of the Galician Courier.
