RECLAMA

The top interest in agglomerations

As Colonel Marek Pietrzak, the spokesperson for the General Staff of the Polish Army, emphasises, the programme “In readiness” already at the pilot phase is of large interest. any 18.5 1000 applications have been submitted to date. “In large agglomerations virtually all places are filled,” says the officer. The largest number of people have decided to participate in cyber-hygiene training – nearly 80% of the seats are occupied. The first-aid courses are little successful, where more than 60% of the seats are filled. A full of about 50% of the available limit was utilized for endurance and safety activities.

– The interest in large cities is huge, so next year the number of training places will be increased,” said Colonel Pietrzak. As he adds, the military offer is clearly of little interest at the ends of the east and western walls. The main phase of the program is scheduled to start in the first 4th of next year. The pilotship will end on December 14th. We request time to learn. Participants will fill out questionnaires that will let us to adjust the training even better to the real needs – said Colonel Pietrzak.

Four Training Modules

When planning the training, organizers focused on cognition and skills most useful in building the resilience of society. This is simply a proposal for all citizens who have not been in contact with the military before, but who want to learn how to respond appropriately in crisis situations and increase their sense of security. Classes divided into 4 thematic modules will supply applicable skills, useful in everyday life – from first aid, endurance rules, to network protection.

Why is it worth it? – due to the fact that it is worth to be ready – Colonel Pietrzak is in receipt. As he explains, a conscious and prepared society, combined with strong armed forces and an efficient state, is simply a real barrier to aggression. “Only these 2 aspects combined make us able to successfully address the threats we are facing.”
