The Frenchman Bryan Coquard (Cofidis) won after finishing with the cape the eighth phase of the cycling race Vuelta a Espana with a finish in Xeraco.
The erstwhile leader of the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE squad Emirates-XRG) after the crash withdrew from the competition. The lead was taken by the Spanish Enric Mas (Movistar Team).
Behind Coquard, who won the first phase triumph in the large Tour, he finished on Saturday the Danish Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek), and the 3rd was Belgian Jordi Meeus (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe).
