British Matthew Brennan of the Visma-Lease squad and Bike won in the village of Lorca the 11th phase of the cycling race of Vuelta a Espana. The leader's red shirt was preserved by the Spaniard Enric Mas (Movistar).
Brennan rapidly finished with the peletto, ahead of Frenchman Bryan Coquard (Cofidis) and Belg Jordi Meeus (Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe).
The 21-year-old British has already won the 3rd phase triumph in this year's Vuelta, in which he debuts. Among his 22 triumphs is the phase won in Zakopane during last year's Tour de Pologne.
