Viktor Orban in an interview on Radio Kossuth addressed the future of Ukraine in the structures of the European Union. The head of the Hungarian Government maintained that the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, was to promise Kiev EU membership before the end of the current word of office of the European Parliament.
— We cannot let respective eggheads in Brussels to sit at the table and decide on paper whether Ukraine can be a associate of the European Union or not, says Orban.
