We are faced with the hazard of centralisation of the European Union, which could lead to its transformation into a superstate with a limited function of national governments. We can't let that happen!

If what is said in Brussels happens, the EU will never be as we know it again. 1 day we can find ourselves in the European Union, where our votes will have no influence.
This may sound improbable, but this is the current reality: we are facing an effort at extremist centralisation of the EU, which would mean turning it into a centralised European superstate with limited control by national governments.

This is simply a systemic change that will let respective of the EU's most populous associate States to dominate, allowing them to regulation and marginalise the voices of smaller and medium-sized countries.
It's not just a theoretical threat. As you may have heard, the European Parliament adopted this controversial proposal on 22 November by a tiny majority. Of the 609 Members present, 291 were in favour, 274 against and 44 abstained.
Sign our petition in which we call on our government to reject these changes and halt the centralisation of the EU.
Although the process of amending the EU treaties will be slower than initially expected, force on this issue is already crucial. Proposals for amendments to the Treaties are to be submitted to the Environment Council, which is scheduled for 18 December, and which is to be continued by the European Council in spring.
As you may know, this subject has already been discussed in the Polish parliament at the request of the PiS party. Unfortunately, the European Parliamentary Committee rejected this proposal for a resolution against changes in the EU treaties!
I want to explain why trying to centralize is simply a bad idea... The first and most serious problem is the failure of national sovereignty. The abolition of veto law in the EU Council, where the Prime Minister represents us, will importantly reduce Poland's voice and influence on EU events. This change would not only undermine our sovereignty, but would besides put us at hazard of being forced into political decisions that may be incompatible with our national interests.
If the unanimous vote (consensus) is abolished, we will lose the right of veto and decisions will be taken by qualified majority, which in practice means ignoring or even ignoring the needs and values of smaller or more conservative countries specified as Poland, Slovakia or Hungary.
If we do not agree with any ideological progressive agenda, another countries can vote against us and impose this agenda on us, ignoring our fundamental position and our values!
Moreover, there is simply a much greater hazard of abuse of sanctions. Without the right, the veto of EU associate States, including Poland, could be exposed to unfair and harmful decisions and would have no anticipation of blocking them.
Please join our campaign, sign our petition and make it available to your friends.
The EU is trying to impose liberal ideology on more conservative countries. Many Members of the European Parliament do not represent the value of their voters. The delegation of even greater powers to the European Parliament seems inappropriate, especially in the face of its continuous attempts to impose sex ideology, abortion or same-sex relationships on Europeans, despite clear social opposition.
As you can see, the proposal to amend the basic treaties of the EU must be firmly rejected as it leads to extremist centralisation of the Union and yet threatens the unity and stableness of the full Union, which we want to avoid.
Now you may wonder, "Can this petition truly make a difference?" The answer is absolutely yes. National governments will feel our force and will take our vote into account, especially as the European elections are coming. Politicians must realise that if they do not represent our values, it will affect their election results.
Let us call together the Polish government to reject extremist centralisation of the EU!
