In early April, employees of Ukrainian partner universities participated in workshops organised at the University of Warsaw in the field of vocational training. The event was carried out as part of the NAWA task implemented by the University of Warsaw 4EU+ for Ukraine. They were preceded by a conference at the University of Gdańsk "Focus on Ukraine".
From 3 to 4 April, representatives of the Office of Cooperation with the abroad Office of the University of Warsaw together with representatives of Ukrainian partner universities: Kharkiv National University of V. N. Karazin, Kiev National University of Taras Shevchenko and Lviv National University of Ivan Franki participated in the conference "Focus on Ukraine" in Gdańsk. The event took place as part of the NAWA task 4EU+ for Ukraine implemented by the University of Warsaw in the program "Solidarni z Ukraine". The conference culminated in a two-day task gathering at the University of Warsaw combined with workshops for Ukrainian university staff in the field of vocational training.
The event was attended, among others, by: Rector of Kiev National University of Taras Shevchenko Prof. Volodymyr Bugrov, Rector of Kiev National University of Taras Shevchenko Prof. Ksenii Smyrnov, Rector of Kharkiv National University of V. N. Karazin Prof. Boris Samorodov and prof. Oksana Krayevska of the Faculty of global Relations of Lviv National University of Ivan Franki. Swietlana Dachno was present from the University of Warsaw as a typical of the abroad Cooperation Office.
The participants of the conference discussed the actions to date for the Ukrainian academic community and discussed the common imagination of reconstruction of Ukraine, the strategy for reconstruction of academic centres and the prospects for their further development.
The National Academic Exchange Agency together with the University of Gdańsk already organised a second conference devoted to Ukraine's support for the war aggression of the Russian Federation.

As part of the task activities on 5 and 6 April at the University of Warsaw, a task gathering and workshops for Ukrainian university staff were organized. The 2 events were attended by 5 representatives from each Ukrainian partner university, as well as representatives of universities associated with the 4EU+ Alliance.
The task gathering discussed the activities of 4EU+ associate universities in the context of future cooperation with Ukrainian universities.
Representatives of the University of Warsaw presented a strategy for scientists, a quality assurance strategy and a program for the improvement of competences for academics of the University of Warsaw, while representatives of the University of Copenhagen discussed a strategy of career improvement of scientists at their university.
During the meetings, participants had the chance to exchange experiences in the field of career improvement and to discuss future workshops for researchers, administrative staff and students.
