Every year the most crucial day in the work of the Sejm is voting on the state budget. The budget bill is simply a thick book that can be read with knowing by 10, at most 20% of Members. The importance of this paper is all the more so that its insufferableness may consequence in the President's dissolution of the Sejm and fresh elections.
During the three-day session of the Sejm (January 16 – 18), which was divided into 2 sessions, the 3rd reading of the budget bill was to be held after the vote. However, this crucial task did not bother the members of the coalition or the opposition. Nor was it peculiarly emotional to set up a committee of enquiry to analyse the legality of the usage of Pegasus software, not to mention the appointment of a fresh president of the Office for individual Data Protection.
There were 3 points on the agenda that almost all MP had large emotions:
– application for a vote of distrust of the Minister of Culture Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz;
– request for appeal of the Deputy Marshal Krzysztof Bosak;
– request for consent by the Sejm to bring a criminal MP to justice Grzegorz Braun.
