US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported on Saturday that US troops destroyed 3 Iranian tankers in retaliation for erstwhile Iranian attacks on U.S. ships.
U.S. forces reported that the M/T Downy tanker on the island of Khark and M/T Stark 1 close the village of Żask on the Strait of Ormuz was permanently disabled. An empty M/T Kylo tanker in the Oman Gulf was completely destroyed. Earlier, the Americans had recommended the evacuation of the ship. All 3 are to be part of the Iranian “shadow float”.
"Iran has no means to defend them," CENTCOM stated on platform X.
According to CENTCOM, the strikes occurred after the forces of the muslim Revolutionary defender Corps fired ballistic missiles towards the American aircraft carrier and rocket destroyer. The ships were expected to avoid a hit.
