As part of the transformation of the United States Land Forces, high-ranking Pentagon officials ordered the U.S. Army to quit purchases of parts of the military equipment utilized so far, recognising it as outdated, maintenance roads and non-perspective. This is to take place as part of a major improvement announced by U.S. Secretary of defence Pete Hegseth under the name "Army Transformation Initiative". Antiquated weapons types are to be withdrawn. buying is to include fresh and forward-looking systems specified as precision weapons, long-range artillery and anti-aircraft systems.
