The US wants NATO support in the Persian Gulf

Donald Trump in his last interview with the "Financial Times" appealed to allies and another powers, including China, to engage in the region to open the strait. In a telephone conversation with the Trump newspaper, he called on European countries to join American war effort in Iran. He pointed out that Europe and China, unlike the US, are heavy dependent on Gulf oil.
