US withdraws from mediation between Ukraine and Russia. 'We will not fly around the world'

The US has withdrawn from its function as a mediator in the peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, a spokeswoman for the US State Department said. "We will proceed to help, but we will no longer fly around the planet as mediators at meetings," she said.
