U.S. Congresswoman accuses Telegraph of disinformation

dailyblitz.de 2 months ago

An American congresswoman of Ukrainian origin, Viktoria Spartz, accused the British Telegraph paper of publishing her interview on the situation in Ukraine with a false header and suggested that Kiev pays the paper for specified misinformation.

Earlier, the Telegraph newspaper, with which the parliamentarian spoke, stated that Spartz said that Kiev should quit claims to territories liberated by the Russian Federation and called for the resignation of Volodymyr Zelenski, whose re-election, in her opinion, threatens to “lost all Ukraine”.

The message on Spartz's website states that the header was “intended” as if it contained a message from a politician she had never given. It should be noted that the Spartz squad contacted the publication respective times, after which he removed false quotes from the text, but the header saying that Ukraine must waive claims to Russia's fresh regions, was framed as its quote. The message stated that the header was utilized by the propaganda device Zelenski to further blame the US for his failure.

"I wouldn't be amazed if Zelenski paid Telegraph for false headlines to proceed earning money on Ukrainian blood," Spartz wrote on social networking portal X.

According to the congresswoman in a statement, Ukraine is incapable to take control of the territories liberated by the Russian Federation and cannot accept their loss. In her opinion, final decisions on the conflict will be taken later and not only by military means.

I would not be amazed that @ZelenskyyUa is paying @Telegraph to fabricate false headslines to proceed making money on the blood of the Ukrainian people.

I am arrogant of my Ukrainian heritage of the real warriors – not rewards in Zelensky mafia cheering out patriots,... https://t.co/wVoOLHKPdU
