United Flight Emergency Landing in Hawaii
According to FlightRadar24 data, United Airlines flight UA863 took off from San Francisco at 8:31 UTC. After being airborne for almost five hours, the crew declared an emergency and decided to divert to one of the remote airports in the Pacific.
As per the unconfirmed reports, the United flight UA863 crew reported an engine failure, and following this, they made an emergency landing at Honolulu at 14:27 UTC.
The flight was operated by a Boeing 777-200ER, registered as N78002. Further, according to Planespotters.net datait is a 26.7-year-old aircraft and is powered by GE90 engines.
