These are the ammunition boxes.
The Armed Forces Museum informs about the donation on social media. "Recently, objects have been placed in our collections that may seem worthless. The ammunition boxes shown in the photograph are very common, but what distinguishes these specifically?"- we read.
"Their uniqueity is origin. They came to us straight from the Poznań Hipolit Cegielski Plant, where weapons and ammunition were besides produced. According to the Donors' account, cartridges were stored in them already produced in Poznań"- added.
As stressed, donated boxes are further artifacts that will remind in the future of military Poznań.
