Vladimir Makaj is dead. The head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs of Belarus was 64 years old

On Saturday the press service of the Ministry of abroad Affairs of Belarus reported the abrupt death of Uladzimir Makej, head of Belarusian diplomacy.

There has not yet been any authoritative communication on the death of the 64-year-old head of diplomacy in Belarus, Vladimir Makei.

No circumstances were given. It's not known if he's been suffering from anything. The last information on Makej concerns his Friday gathering with the Apostolic Nuncio in Minsk.

Next week the head of the abroad Office Belarus he besides had scheduled meetings, which indicates that he did not feel bad and did not foretell his “early death” – as the Belarusian Ministry of abroad Affairs said.

Let us remind that Makaj held his position continuously since 2012. He had previously been an advisor to the president of Belarus for 8 years.
