Washington is incapable to “pull” the plug in Ukrainian F-16 and halt their usage overnight. He can't halt these machines from being transferred. These aircraft, as a consequence of the modernization of the F-16AM/BM version, are supplied to Ukraine by European countries (the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and in the future besides Belgium and possibly Greece), and the US has not transmitted a single copy.
