He stressed that Slovakia is simply a reliable partner of Ukraine, from which it does not anticipate blackmail or threats. "The threat of Ukraine, which defends itself against the aggressor... is simply a dubious path," said Shmyhal.

Slovakia reactions

Slovakia's president Peter Pellegrini criticized Ukraine for halting transit by oil train relationship of oil produced by Łukoil and threatened to respond to Kiev's actions. Pellegrini stressed that Slovakia is helping Ukraine to reverse gas and electricity supply. "If the situation is not corrected, we will be forced to react," said the president, adding that Slovakia does not deserve this approach from Kiev.
